Scandinavian Simplicity is a design philosophy rooted in stripping away the unnecessary to reveal something essential. Inspired by time spent among the great furniture makers of Copenhagen and across Scandinavia, I explored what it truly means to design with purpose—where elegance is earned through restraint, not ornament. The result: a chair born from two pieces of birch plywood, four bolts, and the quiet confidence of kerf cutting—a technique that lets wood bend as naturally as the philosophy that shaped it.
